I am a commercial and fine art photographer who recently was transplanted in Seattle in order to follow her dreams. I grew up in Northwest Montana surrounded by family and friends who encouraged my creativity and passion of the arts. As a recent graduate of the Film and Photography Program at Montana State University in Bozeman, I am on a quest driven by obsession and…well, employment.
I love photographing people: portraits, nudes, fashion, weddings and children. Capturing moments full of emotion and life is what inspires me in my work. My photography tells a story: the beauty of humanity in all of its complexity.
My dream is to travel to different countries, learn to cook the local favorites and photograph everything along my journeys. Culture fascinates me. I am always looking for opportunities to increase my knowledge – reading books, organizing photo walks, entering art shows, meeting other artists, and experimenting with various photographic techniques and skills.
Inquiries? Musings? Advice? I look forward to hearing from you.
My one criticism would be to stay consistent with first person. Switching from "I" to "her" in that first sentence feels a little wonky!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see you soon!! :D
What do you think of substituting "have recently transplanted" instead of "recently was transplanted" (for less passive voice)?
ReplyDeleteOooo thank you! I didn't even realize after reading it over that I changed tenses...I'll fix that and think about that first sentence some more.
