It's baking season! All I want to do is bake but I have limited myself to one baking project per week. Maybe. We'll see how that goes. Here are molasses cookies from a few weeks back. I need help deciding which image form each set that I like best. 1 or 2? 3 or 4? Help! I have more images but I am not as satisfied with them. This has become a personal project - photographing what I love. Baking + photography = happy me. Plus, I get to make my friends happy sharing all of these yummy morsels :)
Hey Tessa. Yummy! From 1 and 2, I like #1 best. I think the fact that the focus is on the first one makes this a stronger image than the second. The blurred cookie at the front of the second is distracting to me and has more of a "blobby" quality. The first one looks cleaner and more appetizing. I also like seeing the pan edge on the right side of the first one. From 3 and 4, I like the composition of #4 better although the focus doesn't seem as crisp as in the 3rd one. This could just be me. It seems like #4 could maybe be brightened up a little, too. Ok, well that's my two cents anyway. Hope this helps! Go you mad baker woman!
