Kate and Stephen Engagement January 2013 in Seattle
Old time friend (been friends for 7 years, wow!) and amazing self-proclaimed agent of mine, Kate Anvik is getting married in July this year! She found herself a more than wonderful man, Stephen, and I was lucky enough to be asked to be their photographer for their wedding this summer. We had a blast (even though it was chilly) wandering around Greenlake and downtown Seattle and I have faith that this couple is going to be super easy to photograph on their wedding day - they are so in love and SO photogenic. One of my favorite parts of photographing couples are the times where they are so in love with each other that nothing else in the world matters, and it is like I am not even standing there with a camera. Congratulations to the happy, wonderful couple!

Catherine and Christophe 09.01.2012 Part II
I photographed my coworker and his beautiful lady, Catherine, this past Labor Day weekend - a Masquerade Ball themed wedding! It was gorgeous! Up at Le Soleil Hotel in Vancouver, BC, the brilliant colors, numerous tattoos and exuberant girls made the day super special.
Photo Class with the Tintingers Part II
Here are photos Elizabeth took for our first week's assignment - studying photographic techniques and negative space. I love them!
And here are some of my favorites from Anna and Lisa:
Photo Class with the Tintingers
My second group of students met at my family's place in Kirkland - we met once a week for a few months - above are photos of them during their photo adventures! Future post of them will include the photos they took during our classes.

Marcia and Ethan Sept. 2012
Took photos in September of my oh-so-serendipitous friend, Marcia and her husband, Ethan. I helped fund a Kickstarter projects for my sister's friend in Columbia, Missouri, which happened to do with teaching photography to kids. The school where this photo class was happening was Marcia's school where she used to teach. BUT they moved to Seattle last year, and when viewing the Kickstarter page she saw my name and comment and wrote to me asking if I'd be interested in incorporating photography into her new school in Seattle (Kapka - see previous posts) and takings some Seattle portraits of her and her husband. And now we're great friends :) And here are their images taken at Gasworks park in the beautiful fall colors this past September.
