I got the film back from my sister's camera (my Holga) that had the images from our first two weddings of the summer. So far, I think I this one is my favorite.
Zeus, one of our friend's three puppies, looking cute for the camera yesterday. Today I am photographing Ryan and Paige and then doing a few more of their puppy portraits. Puppies wiggle a lot...

My sister is my wedding assistant all summer and I have lent her my Holga for each wedding. Her assignment has been this: 1) Keep track of my stuff and whatever I ask for, run and get it 2) Katie has one roll of film per wedding. This means 12 shots of whatever she chooses and I will develop them for her. Anyone who knows a Holga camera knows it is a very unique medium especially for when you are first learning it. Light leaks, soft focus, plastic fantastic. If you are not familiar with the wonderful world of Holga, please Google it. This is Katie taking a photo of me with the Holga at our first wedding of the summer (isn't she beautiful??). Love you Katie!
Today Patrick and I hiked up to Sacagawea Peak in the Bridger Range near Bozeman, MT. This is a view from the beginning of our hike looking towards the peak that we hiked to the top. It was hard to do, very windy and steep, but totally worth it!!!! Sacagawea Peak is the tallest mountain in the Bridger Range and we hiked up about 2000 feet in 2.5 hours.

I got married in June (yay!) and am now changing my name and the name of my business. It is kind of a pain but it's also nice to get a fresh start. I am going through a re-branding for Tessa Lykins Photography and so have to change all of my stationary and business cards. Here are three ideas for the backs of my cards and I need help deciding which is best. Any ideas, suggestions, etc? The front of my cards with have one of my own photographs, these are just the back ideas. Thanks! Don't mind the missing 'e' in the URL...these are rough drafts.

Photos taken a week after Julia was born with Grandma and the new Mama Scarson. Julia was born April 21, 2010!

Photos of Jill for her third trimester session. We did these a week before Julia came into the world! Some of the photos were taken in the baby room, which I love (John Lennon baby animals and pretty colors). These photos are a little overdue...they were taken mid-April.

Here is Jill and Nick's cat, Tigger, relaxing during Jill's 3rd trimester shoot earlier this year. So cute, perfect light, couldn't help but shoot a few kitty pics.
